About this space
A quiet place for people affected by someone else’s drinking.
Living around alcohol problems can become confusing, exhausting and isolating over time.
Many people spend years trying to hold things together quietly before realising how much it has affected them too.
Why this exists
This space was created from personal experience and from seeing how deeply alcohol can affect family life, relationships and emotional wellbeing across many years.
Sometimes people need somewhere calm to recognise what has been happening around them without judgement, pressure or shame.
The aim of this space is not to tell people what to do. It is simply to offer understanding, recognition, support and somewhere quieter to begin.
Who this space is for
This site is for anyone affected by someone else’s drinking: partners, parents, children, friends, relatives, or people quietly trying to cope on their own.
You may already know there is a serious problem. You may still be trying to understand what is happening.
Wherever you are in that process, you are welcome here.
You do not have to explain everything perfectly here
Sometimes it helps simply hearing from people who already understand the atmosphere you are living in.
The community is a place to read, share experiences, ask questions, or quietly realise that other people have felt these things too.
You do not have to carry this alone.
You are welcome to arrive slowly.
